Newsletter Matters

  • Your Contact Info: Please keep the editor informed of any changes in your contact information.


  • Newsletter Finances: The newsletter is in good financial shape at the present. We are still on round two of donations. To support the newsletter, if you haven't done so in this round, send a check to the above address made out to Ed Schmidt.


  • Sources: Items in the newsletter come from you, our members. Such items and suggestions for the newsletter should be sent to Ed Schmidt. Accompanying photos are now also accepted; see "Website Matters."


  • Earlier issues ... back to issue #6 in early 2002 are here (minus obituaries and directory updates) - click "Member News" (if necessary) and then "News, 2002-05" (in lower left).

  • What's Available: For the latest just click "What's Hot." For an overview of what's on the site, click "Member News" and "Website Change." We've got pictures, links and more.


  • Photos Welcome: Send (to address in next item) recent digital photos of any TEAAer in an African and/or education setting for possible inclusion on the website.


  • Email the Webminder: Email your questions, suggestions and relevant photos to henryjh@verizon.net.

TEAA Action

  • Projects: TEAA and several individuals are active. To view a list of projects click "Actions" (upper left) and then "Grants" (lower left). To see photos and information on specific schools that we are supporting, click "Schools" (upper left) and then a country (lower left).


  • How to Help: If you are thinking of participating, please click How to Help in the upper left corner of this website. You will find information on how to contribute to continuing and future projects.


  • Tax Status: TEAA is registered as a 501(c)3 organization under the US tax code, so donations are eligible for tax deduction..


Grant Process

  • Proposals: Any TEAA-er can propose a grant to a school, by copying and filling out the grant application on this website.


  • Application Form: Click "Organization" and then "Grant Application." Completed forms go to the chair of the Grants Committee: Pat Gill
